Kjerstad Reinstated from IL, Optioned to Triple-A by Baltimore
The former No. 2 overall pick returns from a hamstring strain but heads to Norfolk rather than the big league roster.

The Orioles officially reinstated outfielder Heston Kjerstad from the 60-day injured list on Thursday after he missed the entire season with a hamstring strain. Rather than joining the major league club, Kjerstad was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk. The move fills Baltimore's 40-man roster to capacity. The 27-year-old has posted a .218/.284/.365 slash line across 314 career MLB plate appearances, with a 28% strikeout rate and a 5.7% walk rate.
