Polanco Eyes MLB Return in Days After Double-A Rehab Stint
The Mets DH/1B is recovering from Achilles bursitis and a wrist issue, and says he's feeling much better with a return imminent.
Jorge Polanco is currently on a rehab assignment with Double-A Binghamton as he recovers from Achilles bursitis and a wrist issue. He sat out Thursday's game but said he plans to play Friday. Polanco estimated he needs only two or three more rehab games before he is ready to rejoin the Mets. He noted there is no rush and that his priority is being fully healthy before returning.
