Realmuto took a Yoshinobu Yamamoto fastball off his left wrist in the third inning of Philadelphia's 9-1 loss to the Dodgers. He stayed in briefly but was replaced by Rafael Marchan before the fourth inning. Manager Don Mattingly said Realmuto couldn't squeeze, couldn't swing, and had trouble catching. X-rays were negative and Mattingly expressed optimism, but Realmuto may also sit Tuesday when the Phillies open a homestand against San Diego.
