Marlins Add RHP Amos Willingham on Minor League Deal
The 27-year-old reliever, formerly with the Nationals and Astros' Triple-A affiliate, joins Jacksonville on a minor league contract.

Miami has signed right-handed reliever Amos Willingham to a minor league deal, assigning him to Triple-A Jacksonville. Willingham has appeared in parts of two MLB seasons, both with Washington, posting a 7.11 ERA with nine home runs allowed in 25.1 innings. He spent the early part of 2025 with Houston's Triple-A club, recording a 3.38 ERA in 13.1 innings but walking more batters than he struck out. His fastball velocity has dipped to 94 mph, below his career major league average of 95.9 mph.
