Marlins right-hander Eury Pérez was placed on the 15-day IL retroactive to May 28 with a right gracilis strain. He exited his start against Toronto after four shutout innings, visibly in severe pain in the dugout. Post-game he described his pain as a ten out of ten before it eased slightly. His recovery timeline is approximately eight weeks, dealing another blow to Miami's already-depleted rotation.
