The Mets have selected the contract of left-hander Cionel Perez from Triple-A Syracuse. He signed a minor league deal with New York shortly after and will now join the big-league bullpen. His best stretch came with Baltimore from 2022-24, where he recorded a 3.12 ERA over 164.2 innings.
