A.J. Minter returned from the injured list and made his second appearance of the season for the Mets on Friday. He entered in the fifth inning with two outs and the tying run on base, striking out two batters. Across two appearances this season, Minter has recorded four strikeouts. Manager Carlos Mendoza highlighted Minter's value as a left-handed matchup option in the middle innings.
